Celebrating excellence in the industry

The Vancouver Island Building Excellence (VIBE) Awards is an Island-wide celebration of building excellence that honors industry professionals for their success. Owned and produced by the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) Vancouver Island, the VIBE awards have come to represent Vancouver Island's most prestigious housing awards program. The awards showcase the commitment and dedication to the high standard that CHBA Vancouver Island members uphold.

The judging panel is comprised of industry professionals not locate on Vancouver Island whom excel in their field. Judges are selected based on their industry expertise with their credentials reviewed to ensure that the judges match the high level of expertise required to adjudicate the entries.

The Vancouver Island Building Excellence Awards offers over 30 award categories with new and exciting additions every few years. The award categories are grouped in five focus areas: Residential Planning, Design and Construction-Residential Planning, Design and Construction – Renovation, Design, Planning & Innovative Awards, Special Achievement Awards and Grand VIBE Awards.
